Jay Ho.........A.R.Rahman!!!!!!!!!

After two near misses in the Oscar shortlist, AR Rahman appears to have booked himself a berth this time by bagging a Golden Globe for Slumdog Millionaire, becoming the first Indian ever to win the prestigious award.
The music composer received the award at a star-studded ceremony in Beverly Hills on Sunday for his score Jai Ho in Slumdog, which romped home with four awards.
The film also bagged awards for the Best Motion Picture Drama, Best Director for Danny Boyle and Best Screenplay for Simon Beaufoy.
With the Globes widely seen as a precursor to the Oscars, director Danny Boyle's story based in Mumbai of an orphan who rises from terrible hardship to win Kaun Banega Crorepati, all the while trying to reunite with a lost love from his childhood, has definitely got a leg-up in the race.
The 'Mozart of Madras' wears his new crown modestly though. "It's a great feeling," Rahman told DNA right after the awards function. "Not so much for me but for my fans and music lovers who wanted me to win this award."
So, does he think he will bring home an Oscar this time? "So far so good," he said. "If it has to happen, it will."
